If you took the time to watch some of his more serious videos regarding heavy topics about recent news you would see that he is very intelligent and incredibly well spoken and often gives thought provoking responses. His channel is not alt-right in the slightest.
His viewers have seen him grow and mature and his influence on others is to do the same. If your teen enjoys watching his content, the best thing to do is ask them yourself why they enjoy watching him. Hear it from your own child instead of listening to out of touch adults who miss the point.

Well he is really not, Heres a lesson in youtube history, in , theres use to be a lot of dark humour and stuff going all over the site, but, it was because of all the freedom you tube gived to these creators. Now back to pewdiepie, he use to swear a lot back when he was more immature, but if your kid knows the rights and wrongs, and he knows not say swear words when its not necessary, than he should be fine to watch pewds, and a second note to that is to make sure your kids aren't that impressionable.
I allow my kids to watch pewds for over 6 years and to this day, they still love him and so do I. Pewdiepie is a good role model and make amazing messages. He is an amazing role model like I said. I truly do mean it, if your son or daughter wants to watch him, let him. He just messed up and news stories just make it so, they get more click for the ad revenue and because since he is a huge name. I don't recommend looking at news stories calling him out as a racist and a bigot when he is just human and just mess up and that he is very popular.
